A strange little side quest
MineGuy 2: Among Them belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Our solar system formed about 4.6 billion years ago from a cloud of gas and dust collapsing under gravity. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Games resembling checkers were being played thousands of years ago; evidence of related games reaches back to around 1600 BC. That long chain of experiments is part of why space still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
