A strange little side quest
Between one round of Happy Sushi Roll and the next, this is worth knowing: Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. That is only half the story. SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. So a round of Happy Sushi Roll is not just a quick distraction; it is a tiny stop on a much longer food history timeline.
