A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Cat Simulator: Kitty Craft!, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The same trail leads to another fact: By 1987, fantasy role-playing had become a major computer-game direction, with Zelda, licensed Dungeons & Dragons games and other story-led adventures expanding the form. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
