A strange little side quest
A small trivia drop for Family Restaurant: Electric refrigeration reached the American mass market in the late 1920s, changing how households stored food and even how desserts such as ice cream could be made at home. It also connects to a different milestone: SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself.
