A strange little side quest
Noelle's Food Flurry belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. That is only half the story. M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
