A strange little side quest
Before the next round of ER Plumber, here is a piece of the bigger picture. In 18th-century America, upper-class men as well as women wore make-up, a reminder that beauty customs have never been as fixed as they can seem. And then there is this: M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. That gives ER Plumber a little more company than it first appears to have.
