A strange little side quest
A small trivia drop for Annie's Enchanted Lemonade Stand: During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. That long chain of experiments is part of why fashion and style still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
