A strange little side quest

Put Treasure Seas Inc. next to the history of arcade history and a few unexpected connections appear. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That is only half the story. Pong was field-tested in California bars in 1972 and helped launch the modern arcade-game era. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
