A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Tiny Town Defense is anything but tiny. The word 'checkmate' is linked to the Persian expression 'shah mat', used when the king was trapped. That is only half the story. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Tiny Town Defense feel a bit more connected to the history of play.

What you are getting into
Tiny Town Defense is a unique 2D tower defense game that will assign you the mission of protecting a small town from relentless waves of mischievous little devils. Following the mayor's orders, players must plan wisely and upgrade their defenses carefully! To prevent enemies from penetrating your town, you must build barricades, set traps and use a wide arsenal of weapons. Each round will present increasing difficulty, forcing you to test both your quick reflexes in combat and your strategy in resource management. As you progress, you will unlock new tools and features, making each level more challenging and rewarding!
