A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Siren Head SCP-6789: The Hunt Continues, here is a piece of the bigger picture. SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Siren Head SCP-6789: The Hunt Continues feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
