A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Pizza Time is anything but tiny. Nancy Johnson patented a hand-cranked ice-cream freezer in 1843 that used an inner churning chamber surrounded by ice. And the history keeps stacking up: The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games. That gives Pizza Time a little more company than it first appears to have.
