Before the next round of Pistol Training, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. A second detail makes the picture even better: Space Invaders, released in 1978, helped push video games into mainstream popular culture.
