A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Make-over Evie, here is a piece of the bigger picture. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario.
