A strange little side quest
Between one round of Decor: My Bakery and the next, this is worth knowing: Tomatoes helped turn Naples' flatbreads into the food we recognize as pizza, which had become an important food for poorer Neapolitans by the 18th century. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
