A strange little side quest
High School Girls Classroom Life may feel immediate, but the ideas around racing have been evolving for a very long time. Silverstone hosted the first Formula 1 World Championship round on May 13, 1950. The same trail leads to another fact: SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. That gives High School Girls Classroom Life a little more company than it first appears to have.
