A strange little side quest
We Bare Bears : French Fry Frenzy belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. A second detail makes the picture even better: The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games.
