A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Decor: My Cabin is anything but tiny. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. It also connects to a different milestone: During much of the 19th century in the United States, visibly painted cosmetics became socially unacceptable even though beauty practices never disappeared. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
