A strange little side quest
Between one round of Parisian Style and the next, this is worth knowing: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game, decades before modern 3D racers. A second detail makes the picture even better: Barbie Fashion Designer became a major software hit in 1996, selling more than 500,000 copies in two months and proving there was a large audience for fashion-focused computer play. That gives Parisian Style a little more company than it first appears to have.
