A strange little side quest
Bonnie's Bakery belongs to a much longer story of play than a browser tab might suggest. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. That gives Bonnie's Bakery a little more company than it first appears to have.
