A strange little side quest
There is a neat bit of history hiding behind the kind of play you find in Cooking Chef. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. It also connects to a different milestone: M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play.
