A little context makes World's Hardest Challenge: Fill Fridge more fun to place on the gaming map. The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games. It also connects to a different milestone: Space Invaders, released in 1978, helped push video games into mainstream popular culture.
