A strange little side quest
Tiny Tina's Ice Cream Sundae Rush has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Nancy Johnson patented a hand-cranked ice-cream freezer in 1843 that used an inner churning chamber surrounded by ice. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. Grombi files that under: small game, surprisingly large backstory.
