A strange little side quest

A small trivia drop for Tap Tap Jump: Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 with a character called Jumpman, who would later become one of gaming's most recognizable figures: Mario. And the history keeps stacking up: Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
