A strange little side quest
Tap-Tap Shots has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. The earliest basketball games used peach baskets, and Naismith wrote 13 original rules for the new indoor sport. And the history keeps stacking up: Archery was already on the Olympic programme in 1900, boxing joined the modern Games in 1904, and basketball became a medal sport in 1936. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
