A strange little side quest
Between one round of Tab Kingdom Idle and the next, this is worth knowing: Games resembling checkers were being played thousands of years ago; evidence of related games reaches back to around 1600 BC. A second detail makes the picture even better: The Oregon Trail mixed travel, supplies, risk and survival decisions decades before resource-management systems became common in mainstream games. That gives Tab Kingdom Idle a little more company than it first appears to have.
