The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Sticker Art Book is anything but tiny. The name Tetris combines a reference to four-square pieces with Pajitnov's interest in tennis. That is only half the story. Reader Rabbit's 1986 arrival was part of a major expansion of educational computer software before the CD-ROM boom of the 1990s. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Sticker Art Book feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
