A strange little side quest
A little context makes Sprunki: Future Polaris more fun to place on the gaming map. Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. It also connects to a different milestone: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Sprunki: Future Polaris feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
