A strange little side quest
The next time Froggy's Battle asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Sonic the Hedgehog launched in 1991 and turned speed itself into a defining platform-game mechanic. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That gives Froggy's Battle a little more company than it first appears to have.
