A strange little side quest
Spot It Bazaar has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. SimCity grew out of Will Wright's enjoyment of the map editor he had built for an earlier game; the act of shaping a city became the game itself. And then there is this: Arthur Wynne published a diamond-shaped 'Word-Cross' in the New York World on December 21, 1913; the name later shifted to 'Cross-Word' and then 'crossword'. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
