A strange little side quest
The mechanics around Sky Blocks Falling have roots that stretch far beyond modern browsers. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Women competed in Olympic archery as early as 1904, making it one of the early Olympic sports to include women. That gives Sky Blocks Falling a little more company than it first appears to have.
