A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind Pretty Puppy Care is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Street Fighter II, released in 1991, turned head-to-head arcade fighting into a worldwide phenomenon and helped define the modern fighting-game genre. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
