A strange little side quest
Fluffy Pancake Maker has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Nancy Johnson patented a hand-cranked ice-cream freezer in 1843 that used an inner churning chamber surrounded by ice. A second detail makes the picture even better: By the 1890s, department stores and mail-order catalogs were selling mass-produced ready-to-wear clothes in standardized styles and price ranges. That long chain of experiments is part of why food history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
