A strange little side quest
Put Poppy Strike next to the history of space and a few unexpected connections appear. The Moon orbits Earth at an average distance of about 385,000 kilometres, and surface gravity there is roughly one-sixth as strong as Earth's. And then there is this: Doom changed game design and distribution in 1993 by separating its engine from content and spreading widely through shareware. That is the kind of background detail that makes another attempt at Poppy Strike feel a bit more connected to the history of play.
