A strange little side quest
Before the next round of Plazma Burst, here is a piece of the bigger picture. Chess changed dramatically in Europe during the 15th and 16th centuries when the queen became the board's most powerful piece. A second detail makes the picture even better: Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
