A strange little side quest
Pizza Passion may feel immediate, but the ideas around food history have been evolving for a very long time. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. That long chain of experiments is part of why food history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
