A strange little side quest
A little context makes Snowy: Treasure Hunter II more fun to place on the gaming map. Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 with a character called Jumpman, who would later become one of gaming's most recognizable figures: Mario. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
