A strange little side quest
The rules may be simple on screen, but the backstory around Pancake Pile-Up is anything but tiny. Cone-shaped wafers with cream were described in print before 1900, but the ice-cream cone became a major American fairground hit at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Women competed in Olympic archery as early as 1904, making it one of the early Olympic sports to include women. That gives Pancake Pile-Up a little more company than it first appears to have.
