A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Monkey Go Happy: Stage 465 for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. Alexey Pajitnov created Tetris in 1984 after drawing inspiration from pentomino puzzles, then simplified the idea around shapes made from four squares. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Women competed in Olympic archery as early as 1904, making it one of the early Olympic sports to include women. That gives Monkey Go Happy: Stage 465 a little more company than it first appears to have.
