A strange little side quest
Even a quick game like Lemonade Ninja GS sits on top of decades — and sometimes centuries — of ideas. A major archery competition held at Finsbury in England in 1583 drew about 3,000 participants. Another piece of context lands nicely beside it: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. That history is one reason familiar mechanics can still feel new when they are recombined well.
