A strange little side quest

A small trivia drop for Speedy Bubbles: Doom changed game design and distribution in 1993 by separating its engine from content and spreading widely through shareware. The surprising part is how quickly the next milestone followed. Archery first appeared at the Olympic Games in 1900 and returned permanently to the programme in 1972 after a long absence. That gives Speedy Bubbles a little more company than it first appears to have.
