A strange little side quest
Between one round of Jewelish and the next, this is worth knowing: Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. The timeline takes another interesting turn: Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. The screen is modern; the urge to test skill, pattern and timing definitely is not.
