A strange little side quest
Zoom out from Jaba the Zit for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Spacewar! appeared on MIT's PDP-1 in 1962 and became one of the earliest influential computer games shared among programmers. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
