A strange little side quest
I Want You to Notice Me has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. The broader history adds one more wrinkle. Midway's Gun Fight from 1975 was the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
