A strange little side quest

A little context makes Jungle Mysteries more fun to place on the gaming map. Nintendo's Donkey Kong arrived in 1981 and introduced the character first known as Jumpman, who later became Mario. That is only half the story. Space Invaders, released in 1978, helped push video games into mainstream popular culture. That long chain of experiments is part of why arcade history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
