GROMBI FACT DROPREAL-WORLD TRIVIA
A strange little side quest
Zoom out from House Flip for a moment and the timeline gets surprisingly deep. The Oregon Trail began in 1971 when three student teachers created a computer simulation to help Minnesota schoolchildren learn American history. And the history keeps stacking up: M.U.L.E. arrived in 1983 with multiplayer competition built around gathering resources and keeping a colony alive, an early example of resource-driven strategy play. So a round of House Flip is not just a quick distraction; it is a tiny stop on a much longer learning games timeline.
