A strange little side quest
Grand Skibidi Town has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. A second detail makes the picture even better: Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
