A strange little side quest
The next time Fortress Game asks for one more try, remember that game ideas rarely appear from nowhere. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. And then there is this: Pac-Man went on sale in 1980, and its creator Toru Iwatani famously linked the character's shape to a pizza with a slice missing. The details change, but the appeal of learning a system and trying again is remarkably persistent.
