A strange little side quest
Sniper:Invasion has plenty of company in a long tradition of players chasing timing, patterns and better decisions. Gun Fight reached arcades in 1975 and became the first arcade video game to use a microprocessor. That old idea kept changing rather than disappearing. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. It is a good reminder that simple game mechanics can carry a surprising amount of history.
