A strange little side quest
The fun part of looking behind FNF: Girlfriend Takes Over is seeing how many older ideas are still alive in modern play. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. The same trail leads to another fact: In 1958, Tennis for Two used an analog computer and an oscilloscope to turn simple physics into a playable tennis-like demonstration. Not bad for a few facts hiding behind a Play button.
