A strange little side quest
Dont Whack Your Boss may feel immediate, but the ideas around video-game history have been evolving for a very long time. Computer Space reached arcades in 1971 and became one of the earliest commercial electronic arcade games, even though its controls proved demanding for many players. There is another connection worth keeping in the same mental pocket: Atari's Gran Trak 10 from 1974 is recognized as the first arcade racing video game. That long chain of experiments is part of why video-game history still feels fresh when a game finds the right twist.
